Syllabus

Weightages:

▪ Matric: 10%

▪ Intermediate: 40%

▪ MDCAT: 50%

Eligibility:

60% marks in F.Sc Pre-Medical or equivalent examinations

WHO CAN APPLY

1. The Candidates having domicile of any district of Azad Jammu & Kashmir and refugees of Jammu & Kashmir(1947/1989).

2. All Candidates from Pakistan who are willing to obtain admission against the seats for AJK nationals /refugees (1947/1989) whether in the Medical Colleges at AJK territory or reserved seats for AJK nationals in Pakistan, must have to take SET (State Entry test) as no other test will be valid to determine their merit for admission in MBBS or BDS.

3. Dual Nationals must take the State Entry Test (if they have not passed SAT II examination with minimum score of 550 marks in each science subject i-e Biology, Chemistry & Physics/ Mathematics for admission against seats reserved for them in AJK Medical Colleges.

4. Pakistan Medical & Dental Council has abolished age limit for admission in medical /dental Institution. There is no maximum age limit for appearance in State Entry Test

Important Instructions:

▪ The entry into the test centers with the following items is strictly prohibited with penalty of immediate removal of the candidate from the center and cancellation of paper i.e. Cell Phone, Calculator, Books or Notes, Weapons or Arms, Clip Board, Bags, Electronic Devices such as Watches, Headphones, Bluetooth, Metallic Pens.

▪ Candidates must bring (a) Print-out of Admittance Card (b) Original CNIC/B-Form (c) Two plastic Blue Ball Point Pens (Not Markers or Pencils or Metallic Pens) (d) Clip Board (e) Only non digital wrist watches

▪ No candidate will be allowed to enter the test center without his/her Admittance Card.

▪ No candidate will be allowed to enter the test center after 08:15 AM after which all the centers will be sealed/closed.

▪ Body search of the candidates will be conducted before entrance into the test centers.

▪ Parents/relatives will not be allowed inside the premised of test centers.
